Telegram Post Templates and Spintax

This guide is not about mass-messaging strangers or bypassing Telegram restrictions. It covers a modest, common task: publishing a recurring format in your own channel without showing subscribers the exact same wording every time.

This is not bulk messaging or restriction avoidance

The use case is publishing to your own channel through your own bot. Text variation makes a sequence of similar posts less repetitive; it does not evade moderation, limits, or platform checks.

Why vary text in your own channel?

Weekly announcements, daily reminders, and recurring promotions often share one structure. Rewriting them manually works but consumes time even when the meaning stays unchanged.

What is a post template?

A template is one prepared text—and optionally buttons—from which a batch of posts is formed. Variation comes from alternatives written inside that one template, not from a library of separately saved posts.

How spintax creates text variants

Spintax lists alternatives in braces separated by a vertical bar: {option 1|option 2|option 3}. For each post, the program selects one prepared option. You write every alternative yourself; this is not AI text generation.

A practical example

{Hello|Good afternoon}! Today we cover {a new topic|an interesting question}.

  • “Hello! Today we cover a new topic.”
  • “Good afternoon! Today we cover an interesting question.”
  • “Hello! Today we cover an interesting question.”

Buttons can vary too

Spintax can be used in a button label and its URL as well as the main post text. Nested alternatives are supported, but keeping templates readable makes final checks easier.

Sequential or random media is a separate feature

When several photos, videos, or GIFs are uploaded, they can be assigned to posts sequentially or randomly. This controls media selection; spintax controls wording.

What this feature does not do

  • It does not guarantee formally unique text.
  • It does not bypass Telegram restrictions.
  • It does not generate new wording automatically.
  • It does not schedule posts for a future time; the batch runs when you start it.
  • It is not a library of multiple saved templates; one template is used for a batch.

How this works in SoftLitePOSTBot

SoftLitePOSTBot publishes through your own Telegram bots to your own channels. Write the text once, add your prepared alternatives and optional button variants, set the number of posts, and the program evaluates the spintax for each item. Media order is configured separately.

FAQ

Is this the same mechanism used in bulk messaging?

The notation is similar, but the use here is publishing to your own channel, not messaging outside recipients.

Can I select among several saved templates?

No. One text template is used per batch; spintax provides its wording variants.

Are duplicates impossible?

No. With few alternatives and many posts, some combinations can repeat.

Can a batch be scheduled?

No. It is published when you start the operation.

Does spintax work in video notes?

Video notes skip a text caption, so spintax applies only to added buttons, not a caption.

Before publishing, make sure your bot has channel permission. The setup is explained in the guide to buttons in Telegram channel posts.
