Telegram Funnel: From Channel Post to Manager Conversation
A Telegram channel can publish content, but it does not by itself explain what happened after someone clicked a post link. A more useful flow is: post → interest → click → Telegram bot → registration → inquiry → manager.
Step 1. The post earns attention
A channel post may contain text, media, an offer, and a clear next action. Its job is not necessarily to complete a sale inside one message, but to give the reader enough context to take the next step.
Step 2. Give each source its own link
If every post uses the same plain bot URL, the user may reach the bot but the source is lost. Telegram deep links add a start parameter, such as post_september or partner_01.
Different placements receive different links, so registration can be associated with its entry point.
Step 3. The bot records a person’s visit
After the user opens the link and presses Start, the system receives an event from a specific Telegram user. It can record the user, time, source, and whether this is a first registration or a repeat Start.
Registration is still not a purchase. It shows that the person took a deliberate next step.
Step 4. Explain what happens next
Do not leave the user at an empty bot screen. A short welcome message—“Send your question and a manager will reply here”—is often enough for a simple click-to-conversation flow.
Step 5. A manager continues the conversation
A user message must reach a workspace that managers actually monitor. One option is a manager chat in Telegram: the bot forwards the inquiry, the manager replies, and the answer returns through the bot.
Where publishing automation fits
Regular publishing repeats the same technical work: prepare text, attach media, add a button, choose a channel, check the result, and repeat. A publishing tool reduces this routine; it does not choose the offer or write the marketing strategy.
How SoftLitePOSTBot and SL REG Bot connect
SoftLitePOSTBot prepares and sends posts with text, media, and URL buttons through your bots to your channels. The button can contain a deep link to your registration bot with a source.
SL REG Bot then records the source, creates a CRM card in NEW, and lets a manager take and answer the inquiry. The resulting path is: SoftLitePOSTBot → post → source link → SL REG Bot → NEW → manager → result.
What this funnel can and cannot show
It can show which source produced registrations and who started a bot conversation. It does not calculate revenue, purchase conversion, customer acquisition cost, or ad ROI without data from later business stages.
Continuity matters more than the number of tools
Start with four questions: where did the person come from, what did they do, where was the registration stored, and who continues the work? Once that path is clear, you can decide which technical steps are worth automating.
